Community Guidelines

In order to participate in the mmhmm Community, you agree to follow these mmhmm Community Guidelines in order to facilitate a space of creativity and collaboration.

Topic Relevance

• Please stay on topic by keeping discussions in their appropriate channels. We want to cultivate a strong community that talks about all the things, but require Community members to keep topics accessible and easy to find.

Identity

• Please use your real name and a photo for yourself, to promote a space that is truthful and honest.
• You may not impersonate another person, or cause confusion between your user identity and that of another person, organization, or company.

Spam

• Please do not post the same content or information multiple times.
• We want to see you share what you’re doing and gain feedback from the community, but you may not excessively self-promote or sell on this platform.
• This is a space of organic conversation and knowledge sharing, so please don’t use the space for excessive free promotions and marketing.

Hate Speech, Threats, Violent and Abusive Speech

We do not welcome harassment or condone any forms of violence or intimidation within the mmhmm Community. The following types of speech are strictly prohibited:

• Hate speech, which refers to content with the  purpose of inciting hostility against others based on certain attributes, which may include: ethnicity, religion, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender or gender identity.
• The use of unwelcome sexual attention, advances, or inappropriate language.
• Public or private harassment.
• Trolling and the use of personal attacks.
• Sharing other users’ personal or private information without their consent.

Inappropriate content

The following is not appropriate to share on this platform:

• Content that violates or infringes someone else's copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights.
• Content that promotes, encourages, or incites acts of terrorism.
• Content that features or that implies the abuse of a minor.
• Content that explicitly or implicitly depicts sexual activities.
  

Permissions

You give permission to mmhmm to use and share posted content created with the mmhmm app, which may include your  intellectual property and likeness, for the purpose of sharing information about mmhmm with third parties (for example, to help educate other mmhmm users on mmhmm features).

Confidential Information

mmhmm may provide Community members with confidential information, including access to unreleased features and products. You agree that you will not share this confidential information with any third party, without permission from mmhmm. You also agree not to share or re-post any messages from the mmhmm Slack channel, whether from mmhmm or other mmhmm Community members, to any third party.

Enforcement

If you feel that you are being harassed by another member of the community, or would like to report an individual that appears to be violating these Community Guidelines, please send an email to community@mmhmm.app. All reports will be taken seriously and addressed in a timely manner by our Community Team.

Moderators have the right to remove comments or other contributions that are not aligned to these Community Guidelines, or to suspend temporarily or permanently any members for other behaviors that they deem inappropriate, threatening, offensive, or harmful.
